When we bought the house the previous owner said we might need a new liner for the pool and the pump might need work.
Well, the liner definitely needed to be replaced. Pool Pros in Raleigh wanted about $1,000 for the liner and labor. I ordered the liner online from In The Swim for $165 with free one day shipping. Replaced it myself for free.
And yes, the pump needed work. The impeller was broken. Pool place didn't have it and said it would be a few days to order. Amazon had it cheaper and for $8.99 had it to us by 8am the next morning!
So the pool is up and running.
Oh! Almost forgot that we had to get water from Tuitt's Water Service. $450 to fill the pool with chlorinated water. Father and son were extremely helpful and worked with me to get everything back together while it was filling. Super nice guys. Also got to do a fair amount of hunting talk with them as they live nearby.
