Our new neighbor, the Osprey

One of our new neighbors is an osprey (No, I didn't take the picture, just borrowed from the internet). Unfortunately, she likes the pond on the property next to us, and not our pond. She fishes that pond everyday. The two ponds are only separated by a dam. While she is beautiful to see and watch, it confirms what my few fishing trips to our pond have shown - we don't have any fish. This is contrary to what the previous owner told me - that the pond was stocked and had some big fish in it. Not cool. Guess I'll begin stocking it.  Thankfully, that isn't super expensive.  Ugh.
