In a week that seemed full of concerns and challenges, we found ourselves halfway through making dinner tonight and discovered that our water pressure was significantly reduced. I sent Isaac around to find what the problem might be. Eventually he came back to report that the well pump was running and water was pouring out of the well house. We discovered that a pipe joint had failed. After dinner, we made a quick trip to Lowe's and came back and replaced most of the pipes. Isaac helped do a lot of the plumbing work. What was a genuine problem turned into an opportunity to learn. And it was another chance to thank God for the years I spent working in construction.
